I feel like we're at a home away from home...

The Palace by day

Mark and I spent another five glorious days in Dubai. We stayed at the One&Only Palace at the Royal Mirage, which is simply stunning. It's very Arabic which is nice considering lots of the hotels are just very typical city hotels, even the ones on the beach like the Palace. It's linked with two other hotels, the Arabian Court and the Residence, and you can dine at the restaurants in the others and sign it to your room at the Palace, which is good.

This trip was really just a relaxing long weekend, and we also got our wedding rings made! It's nice we did that because Dubai is our favourite place, so we've always got part of Dubai with us. Mark's ring is plain platinum, while mine is quite slim but set with a channel of small diamonds two-thirds of the way around.

I wish we could live here (but clearly I'd never be done shopping and spending money) - maybe I'd miss the rain?
