We were more than lucky with the weather

The drive to Benalmádena didn’t take that long due to the GPS I had brought from home. I was as usual driving together with Maarten and it took us less than 30 minutes before we were there. On the way we had stopped to fill up with some energy like sneakers and drinks because we had really felt that we didn’t bring enough with us the day before.
We arrived in the parking of the golf and we could see that it was a hilly course. While we were waiting for the others they called and said that their driver was lost; he even had a GPS in the car but he refused to use it. Talk about being stubborn. Well after further 15 minutes they were there too.
The course was magnificent with loads of height difference and well kept fairways and greens, we could see that as soon as we arrived. We went in to the club house and found out that there was hardly anyone playing there which suited us good. The green fee was more than twice than the day before even if they also had a winter discount. We had each to pay 105 € for playing.
The course was not easy and we were given a fair amount of challenges. The scenery was really beautiful and I had to stop up and enjoy it several times; it was a wonderful course and afternoon.
