Into the wilderness

We left the normal roads after our stay in Alburquerque and entered on to a small road driving towards the lake Pena del Aguila and the first thing we enjoyed was some strange rounded rocks there were shattered all over the fields. The rocks were looking like a giant had been trowing them around like playing balls on a field. What was really strange was that some were placed on top on others like someone had wanted to balance them on top of each others. One that caught my eye was lying on top of three rocks and with a giant tree behind it. To me it looked like a drawing from the awesome cartoon I read when I was young; The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers.
We followed the road and passed some farms and we saw different kind animals walking around in the calm landscape, one of the fields that really caught our eyes was a field full of pigs running around. These pigs looked as far from Dansk pink bacon pigs as one could imagine. The area was awesome to drive in, there were no other people and the colors were wonderful with yellow dry fields, green crowns from the oak trees and the grey rocks shaddered all over. Along the road there were wild flowers growing in all colors and it was truly a relaxing place to drive in. We reached the lake after 5 kilometers and it was as tranquille as the rest of the area.
We had a short break near the water and returned the same way as we came in. It had been a nice break but we were after more villages and cities.
