Hue, Vietnam

Hue Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

I'm off tomorrow to Darwin for a couple of days before flying out to South East Asia. I have hooked up with a couple of old school friends and we start our trek in Darwin then onto Bangkok for a few hours stopover then onto Chang Rai in the northern part of Thailand. Over the next 24 days we will discover Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Stay tuned...

Hue, Vietnam

We have arrived into Hue after a bus trip from Hoi An and it was such a nice trip, as usual.
We walked from the bus station into town, or what we thought was the direction of town, but it seemed that we were heading away from town, anyway Johnny (I) asked two lovely ladies where to find a hotel and they directed us to follow them as they walked further up the road... after a bit of a walk and much sweating due to the backpacks the girls showed us to a nice hotel, which we booked into.  I thanked the girls and said that to thank them for their generousity I would buy them dinnner and some drinks.  They agreed to meet up with us at the DMZ bar the next night.
