Short little junket up to Maine. Planning on some hiking, kayaking, and just relaxing before getting back to the year end grind. Not as glamorous as the cycling trip in the spring but sometimes you just need some simple downtime.

Touchdown... Buckeyes!?!

Final left Chicago around 2:00 PM.  Arrived in Portland, around 5:00 PM local time.  No big deal, as I was probably just going to find a sports bar to watch the Buckeye game anyway.  Instead I got a quick 4 mile run in through town down to the bay and then went out and grabbed a bite to eat.  Weekend looking like it might be a washout so need to find some potential indoor activities.

It's only 58F out here this evening, fall is banging on the doorstep.
