In the late morning, my friend and her family picked me up from the bed & breakfast.
That was very nice of them to do.
Instead of driving by the Hooverdam to return to California, they've decided to drive through Barstow.
There was a 4 hour wait for the Hooverdam. Oh well, they can see it some other time.
While driving to the direction of Los Angeles we've passed a town with the largest thermometer, and yes, it is a large thermometer.
In the early afternoon we've arrived at the house of the mother of my friend.
She was generous to open her house, of course to her own flesh and blood, but also to this silly Dutch girl.
They are very nice people.
With the whole bunch we went to dinner at a Japanese restaurant. It was delicious. I liked the mai tai alot!
At night we've watched a DVD together while all covered up under blankets. Very comfortable mmmm
The next morning a shuttle service came that brought me to the airport.
At check-in I've received a seat immediately, so that was very good.
As it seems, on the flight, one of the flight attendants was an old colleague of mine. So that was fun.
