Meeting a good friend

We've woken up late, tried to pack our bags (which was hard to do as we've bought so much).
The rest of the day we didn't do that much.
Just drive around.
A friend of mine called, saying she was in town, so we all met up around 5 at the Venetian.
We had drinks together and talked a long time.
Since they've had reservations for a show that evening we said our goodbyes, me knowing I would see them the next day.
