Aztec Ruins, Aztec

Today we left the kampground of Bernalillo and headed north to the town of Aztec.
In an old guide we've read about the Aztec Ruins, and since we are not sure if Mesa Verde will be open, we've decided to take a look at those ruins.
On our way to there we've driven through Cuba (the US has so many funny names for their towns).
The route was beautiful, lots of mountains, but also casino's and old junk.
It's amazing people can live like that.
The Aztec Ruins are a very interesting site to visit as it is amazing that people have lived like that so many centuries ago.
At their local gift store I've bought a buckle to wear with my black leather belt.
It's very similar to the one I saw in Santa Fe, except it's much more cheaper!
From Aztec we've moved onward to Durango, Co.
There I've taken some pictures of the famous Silverton Train and from the town itself.
We didn't do much there, except for getting some groceries at Albertsons.
From Durango we went into the direction of Mesa Verde (as the ranger at the Aztec Ruins mentioned some sites were open), but it was too late to enter the park, therefore we've stayed the night at a camp ground at Mancos.
My mom and I sat in the hot tub after dinner.
It was lovely!
