A roadtrip by camper from Chicago, IL to Las Vegas, NV

Arriving at Chicago O'Hare

A good friend from the NewBeetle org picked me up from the airport.
We've had a lunch at Portillo's (?).
I've had a delicious hotdog mmm
This friend was sweet enough to bring me to the hotel in Itasca (Holiday in Express) where my parents were waiting for me.
In the early evening my parents and I went to the Woodfield mall (2nd largest in the USA) where I already purchased a cool pair of Skechers shoes!

Marcia, thanks for visiting my home town of Itasca. I could see the Holiday Inn Express from my front yard.

I just wonder why you drove East to Indianapolis to go West to Las Vegas?

I think Woodfield Mall is a great place to shop as well...its been open since the 1960's. Next time at Portillo's you should try the Italian Beef sandwiches. I just had some frozen Portill's Italian Beef kits sent to my house on dry ice as a Christmas gift. I always have Gino's East Deep Dish Chicago Pizza and a Portillo's Italian Beef when I'm in the Windy City!
