Pretty nice little town full of tourists.  The small town sits on a U'shaped bay full of anchored boats.  The size of the town is nice and there are quite a few foreign owned restaurants.  Met a guy named Dave in a collectivo ride here who filled me in on a lot of info.  Squeezed into a room with 3 Swedes at Casa Oro as the dorms were full when arriving.  Gave myself a quick walking tour of town and then headed up to Pelican Eyes, a very nice hotel/resort up on the hill.  It has a great view of the city and sunsets.  I had the best margarita of my trip and the food was good.  A little spendy for down here, but it was nice.  Met Matt from Aneheim and hung out.  Checked out the local place to be after happy hour and dinner but wasn´t feeling (tired) it and went to the hostel and crashed early.

Easy morning walking around and talked to a realtor about property in the area and Nicaragua in general.  Dana, orginally from Austin TX.  She was very helpful and knowledable.  Working for Remax here in San Juan del Sur.  Walked to every place imaginable to find a high quality $6 pair of green board shorts.  I hope they hold together for 10 more days.  2 shops with good quality products, but not worth $60 for shorts for the next 10 days when I´ve got plenty waiting back at home.  Took a cab with two German girls to a beach up north and walked the beach and read for the afternoon.  Nice beaches and the shorts were satisfactory, but just not the same.  Checked the playoff scores at the Canadian owned Republik before going to dinner at El ____, a fancy mediteranean place.  Filet of fish toped with almonds in a wine cream sauce.  Served with a basil tomato salad and mashed potatoes.  Off to Costa Rica tomorrow.
