Made it back to Oregon. I've updated some pictures with more to come.

Beaches and Beleados

I really enjoyed Tela.  It´s probably a good thing there weren´t any nice yet cheap accommodations here or I would have probably stayed too long.  I did find a nice place with two beds, a fan and my own bathroom for what worked out to be about $13 per night, which is still cheap, but quite a bit more than I was used to.

The beach is white sand with beautiful water and sea front restaurants.  There is a nice resort place just down the beach in what I think is called the new part of town.  There are also some beautiful local women here.  My overall impression of Honduras was the people weren´t that friendly.

The local dish here are baleadas, which in it´s most basic form is a fresh flour tortilla grilled and filled with refried beans and sprinkled with salty cheese of some sort.  They are often available with meat or in some cases create your own.  In Tela I found a place that had excellent baleadas and liked them especially for breakfast.  I´d get a flour tortilla with scrambled eggs, avocado and cheese.
