Bouddhanath Stupa

Oct.12 07

Still staying not too far from Kathmandu. A plan to ride a bicycle to Nagarkot was thrown away because of laziness :D:D:D .. Can't wake up, can't think, can't walk. The fanciful thought have always come at night and gone in the morning  .. So today we went to see Bouddhanath stupa, to visit the beautiful stupa which calls "The buddha eyes" instead.

Had to pay about 70 rupees (something i don't remember) to go to see Bouddhanath Stupa. It's the most biggest stupa in Nepal. Bhudda Eyes is in the middle with 108 images of buddhas around the stupa.

The buddha Eyes, Nepalis belive that this is  the symbolic to make people keep in mind that "no matter what you do, no matter who you are, good or bad, Buddha see every step of you". This belief is good to make people "think before do". Peace! And I just knew now that if you look closely at the stupa, you would see the prayer in the flag which Nepalis believe "The wind would flow these prayer to heaven".

Also it is the center of Buddhist, Tibatian sect. (more info http://www.travbuddy.com/travel-blogs/6978/Inside-Kathmandu-Baktapur-2) . We can see the whole Kathmandu city from here, was really amazing view.

Here also has a lot of monkeys. But one shot was so amazing. Three monkeys were sitting on the wall and look furthur with nothing to speak out.

Monkies with hope
Really wanna know what were they thinking when they sat there? I looked at them, and took some photos of them then many people saw me and them, they came behind me to take the same shots.. haha. Then the monkey noticed that they have lost their privacy so they came to steal the candy from people who still taking the photos of them instead :)

I was enjoy with the monkey alone because Ale was at another side of stupa. Then one man came to me said Hi, How are you?, Where are you come from?, etc.  At first I thought he would be the same as other Nepalis who are friendly and would love to talk with foreigners but no, not him. No - because later he asked me "Do you want something more stronger than cigarette to smoke?" hahahahah ... gotcha!!! So I said  "Hey Buddha looks at you now. He knows what you do and hears what you say, aren't you scared?" He smiled and said "Ok maybe not here but if you want or if he wants (point to Ale), tell me, i'll be around."

Haha ..

Then Ale came, I told him about that guy. He laughed and said "Haha he came to me too."

Oooh ... Nepali. Everywhere!
