Picking up some chocolate for mom
Woke up on Saturday the 23rd and realized that I hadn't picked up anything to bring back for my Mom, and I'm flying on Friday! Luckily, I realized this in time to rectify the situation.
Saturday I ran into Woensel in Eindhoven to pick up some of the black licquorice that she adores, and on Sunday, I decided to head over to Brugge to get her chocolate from the best chocolate I have found thus far. Called a few people and Matt deciced to come along for the ride, so we decided to throw in a couple other stops as well...Brugge, then along the north sea to Dunkirk, then down through France to Lille before heading back to dinner in Antwerp. We hit some nasty traffic while heading south to Lille...and it just so happenned that this traffic occurred at the perfect exit for a side trip to Westvleteren...so a quick Westy stop then off to Antwerp for some Amadeus ribs for dinner. We missed the May meet-up, but we lived it for ourselves!
