We leave Kuwait today. I doubt I'll come back here again unless I deploy again by the end of my enlistment contract...
I stayed up all night; went to midnight chow, bullshit for a couple hours by the smoking area over by the male's tent and waited for dawn to come. At first light i went for coffee in the early morning with a few soldiers. I watched the sun rise over Kuwait, nothing too magnificent but it sure was pretty. Azure, violet, pink colors over the sky, sand.
I think Gramma Rotramel would really liked it. I don't miss my family much, I missed certain events definitely for the rest of my life but Hey, I am glad at least my loved ones are well.
I stayed up all night cuz I was restless, too much stuff on my mind. I even thought about Greg. Don't know why that boy is still waiting on me, I like him BUT I have too much on my plate. West Virginia is the least on my mind, returning to what it use to be is out the question. BUT Greg makes me wonder about the whole family thing, I just dont see myself 'settling down' anytime soon : ) My drive to suceed..my ambition..is on the incline right now and I care to not make the least amount of mistakes. However with choice comes regret, the hardest choice to avoid.
