I wrote this the night before they released as for pass,  couldnt sleep, living out in tent city...

Today is sunday. Throughout my military career sundays have always been significant to me. Whether I'm counting off days or weeks of I know it will be a light duty day to work and rest. Next week I will spend my sunday with my family. The sunday after that I will spend in Kuwait, our start in theater, the sundays after I will spend in a warzone. I think after 2 months here in Fort McCoy, Wisconsin for mobilization station it has finally 'hit' me. My feelings still haven't changed, I'm not afraid or feel excited, I just wanna getthere start this year on the right foot and come back safe, a little wiser and wit phatter pockets! I pray to God that all of us will return unharmed to our families. As for me, even tho I'm going to a Combat Zone, I'm still not afraid, as I travel through this path of danger I have never felt SO focused on my tasks at hand. This isn't the place to fuck arond so as I prepare for OIF, I keep faith in everything I do.
