The place we call home. These photos are from 2004. I will get some newer pics up when it is warmer outside.
The Luke--Home of Champions!
Lucas Oil Stadium opened in August 2008 and is primarily known as the home to the National Football League's Indianapolis Colts.
Other events that take place here are college and high school football and basketball, concerts, conventions and tradeshows, and the college basketball Final Four.
The Luke will also host the Super Bowl in 2012.

The stadium holds 63,000 but can add or remove capacity depending on the event. It has a retractable roof so that games can be played indoors or outdoors. The field is artificial turf.

If you want to see a Colts game, good luck!
They are sold out and there is a waiting list for season tickets.
The best bet is to see a pre-season game or take the stadium tour. That may change in the future if the Colts are no longer contending.
If you can get a seat, they range from as low as $44 on up.

The stadium tours run about an hour and cost $7 for adults and $5 for children. You get to see such areas as the suites, the press box, the locker rooms, and the field itself.

Lucas Oil Stadium is one of the stadium gems in the NFL right now, so have a look!

I hope to make it to a football game there one day, as Manning is one of my heros. Bravo on your review!
