Jackie, Lola, and I at Slippery Noodle

Jerome and I had been asked many times for an Indianapolis Travelbuddy meet-up and it finally happened.

We spent Friday evening visiting the Madame Walker Theater and having drinks at The Slippery Noodle.

Saturday was hectic because there was a mini-marathon happening and we could not get to where we needed to be by car.   We all did manage to meet up at the Indiana State Museum and canal area around 11am.   Lunch was at Mug and Bun.   The afternoon was spent touring the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum.

Saturday evening, we had dinner at Granite City and then many of the TBs went out to party in Broadripple.

On Sunday morning, we met for a brunch at Maxine's Chicken and Waffles.  After that some folks left town and the ones that were still around toured the city for a bit.   We ate dinner at Pizza King and then the whole fun weekend came to a close.

I really want to thank everyone who came to Indianapolis for the meet-up!  It was great to see old friends and also to make new ones!   Indianapolis is not known as a tourist city so we appreciate the large turnout!
