It Was only a short 3 hour nap, as I
had to get up at 6am to get to the
airport for my flight to Lyon. I didn’t
get to see much of Lyon because I was
only there for a couple of hours but it
seemed nice. I mainly went there for the
2 flights which were wicked. I am a
complete airplane buff and flying to Lyon
was my first flight on a Airbus A318
which i loved. Today is the first of many
such flights trying out all kinds of
aircraft :) I landed at Charles De Gaulle
again this time terminal 2, a normal
terminal. The flight came in at 3pm but I was stuck at the airport for over
an hour because of a bomb scare on the airport railway, the place was
crawling with army men and lots of machine guns.
I met Suzie at the Arch De Triumph and we decided to climb to the top,
like the other 2 times the climb was definitely worth it.
When we came back down we walked along
the “Avenue Des Champs” which is that
famous road that goes from the arch de
triumph to the Louvre.
We took a metro from that road back
to our hotel and got back at around
6:30pm.Suzie then got in a panic is
she realized she only had 20 minutes
to get to the Euro star which was
15km away. Lots of running and 6
tube stations we ended up being
buggered and Suzie missing the
train by 2 minutes. Fortunately the
security guy felt sorry for her and
she got a free ticket for the next euro star (otherwise would have cost
her $200 Euros).
The other train left at 8:45pm so we had a nice coffee. Non running pace
took me close to an hour to get back to the hotel, I have no idea how we
covered so much ground in 22 minutes.
After another busy day and more to come i pretty much crashed as soon i
as got back to the hotel.
