The Petronas Twin Towers, and Putrajaya

On our final day in Malaysia, we hired a driver for the afternoon to take us to Putrajaya. Before we left, however, we went to inside the Petronas Twin Towers. Because we were there during Ramadan, the skywalk was closed, and we couldn't go up; but we did walk around the main shopping area. It's a very swanky shopping mall, much like Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
Putrajay is the political seat for Malaysia, and is also where the Putra Mosque is. We had wanted to see this place, as the pictures of the Putra Mosque had taken our breath away, and we had been very impressed by pictures of the Prime Minister's office.
As is so often the case, the pictures we had previously seen did no justice to the real thing; and that afternoon in Putrajaya was one of the most special of our lives.
As so many travelers do, we asked ourselves the timeless question that night - what do you do your last night in an amazing country like Malaysia? And we came up with the timeless answer; have a few drinks (we hadn't done this at all yet on the trip.) So we went back, and toasted everything about the trip so far. Tomorrow? Back to Singapore; but not for long...
