Penang back to Kuala Lumpur

After a peaceful final morning in Penang, we headed back to the airport, to go back to Kuala Lumpur. The one thing I regret about our time in Penang is that we never spent time in the town, which is George Town. We drove through it both ways to and from the airport, but never stopped. There is supposed to be amazing hawker food there. Next time around, I would like to fix that, too.
We flew back into Kuala Lumpur Airport, and got our taxi back into town. We had bad luck with our taxi driver, who was very strange, but harmless in the end. He pulled over and made us through out our Cokes, and also spent quite a bit of time explaining to us how many people are murdered in Thailand, and how we should not go there. It was not our favorite taxi ride, and we were glad to get back to the hotel.
Thanks to a great recomendation from our hotel, we found a great place for dinner; a restaurant called "Passage Thru India". It had wonderful Indian food, and I recommend it very highly. It was a great local place, not a tourist stop. You go in through this strange side entrance, and then walk through this passage to a door towards the back, and then enter. Everyone there was really nice, and the food was amazing. We had a fantastic time, the prices were great, and I can't say enough good things. We would never be in town without stopping here!
