Mallorca, Spain- The trip that almost didn't happen!

What a trip! I was lucky this trip was still manageable.
I was early at the airport for my trip to Mallorca and still missed my flight!!! My southern TEXAS hospitality came out and I was letting others in front of me so they wouldnt miss the Lyon flight. BAD IDEA!! The crappy airline was short staffed and this is another reason people were missing flights!!!

My plane was sitting at the gate but they wouldnt let me on saying its too late. I was trying to make arrangements to see other flights...and just sick to my stomach for at least an hour.

Then I heard there was a technical delay.. for LYON, France and Palma, Mallorca.

sooooo ..............YIPPPEEEE!!! WOW..was I feeling GREAT!! BAck on top again!!! WOW, just thrilled!

We were able to check in again and board, we just had to find our luggage at lost n found.

Our plane finally landed at 12.30pm. (Should have been 10:30am) and I wouldnt be there so ..I guess I cant complain there! :P 

AND ...... THEN we  get to Mallorca and almost about to catch the shuttle for the car rental and my wallet goes missing and falls out AT THE AIRPORT!! WHAT A FREAKING Downer!!!  Back to the bottom we go again.....feeling more sick than I did at the  Berlin airport!

I had 300 cash and 2 cards...one with 2500 on it and the other...the banking acct. I was REALLY SICK! No car not hotel and stuck and worried money is all gone. I went back to the area that it posibbly was lost and it wasnt there. I asked lost n found and nearby business's and no one seen or turned anything in.

Then I get a call over the system to see the Police.

WHEW....they had it. A girl from a rental place  that I was standing by turned it in. 

So....I finally get back in line for my car rental and head to the hotel. We arrived around 4pm Friday....with the airline and my delay.

I think we did a lot cramming in Saturday and Sunday and seen all of West and southern part of the island and of oyurse had to go to Palma to see what the largest city was all about.

I will def write more on my trip. I have had all my focus on school...this last month..so I am sorry I have been slacking and been slow to respond here!! Thanks yor your patience! But what a trip!! I never felt such roller coaster emotions!
