Belize Red Cross completing assessments

Saturday, myself, the Belize Red Cross Director General, Lorena (Logistics) and a disaster committee member went to Dangriga to complete a site visit/assessment.  As you can see from the photos below, the damages to the flood caused in the community were intense, with some 250 families estimated to have recieved intense damages.

The Belize Red Cross is diligently working to distribute needed relief items and thus far has assessed nearly 201 household (just in the South of the Country). 

I feel fortunate to be part of this operation, seeing the power of humanity of in action!!!
