This is where I will post pics and blog entries regarding my time in Central America working for the Red Cross.

Arrived Safely

Arrived in Panama safely at 9:00pm and was pleasantly suprised by the 82 degree weather that welcomed me.

The city itself looks beautiful at night!   In talking with the driver that picked me up at the airport, the city itself is quite the multi-cultural center.  We passed several large real-estate developments, to include a Trump Tower addition, with condos that are going for nearly 2 million USD$$$.

After settling my luggage in the apartment, I was able to go for a stroll and was pleased with the number of shops that were open late.  I passed restaurants of multiple types (Chinese, Italian, Thai), internet cafes', Discotechs, and a Casino, to name a few.

Looking forward to exploring more of the city within the coming months.
