Boston to Provincetown
August 11, 2006
Took the high speed ferry near the World Trade Center in Boston over to Ptown today. Let me start by saying that even though I grew up on the coast and on the water, I didn't spend much time on boats. I really should have taken some video of just how rough it was on the way over today so you could see. Needless to say, I spent the entire trip outside on the bow trying to keep the 3 eggs, bacon and grits I had for breakfast (see my review for Mike's Diner) from making a repeat appearance. Other's who chose to stay inside the cabin weren't so lucky. The weather was absolutely beautiful but that was about it; 3-5 foot seas and heavy winds across the bay made for a very interesting ride. Provincetown is an absolutely gorgeous part of the Cape. If you've never been, please schedule a trip, but please go with an open mind. If you don't know what I mean, then visit here before you go: Provincetown, MA

On the West End of Provincetown at the end of Cape Cod, Bulaba's is a happening place with lots of outdoor seating so you can watch all the eye candy (a.k.a. people) and muscle boys walking by out in the street. Great food, great service, great location - right in the middle of everything on this end of P-town. In their own words: It's all about the FISH, and the JAZZ! and the PATIO!"
