To push my sisters in the ganga

Rishikesh is so far, by far my most favourite place up north.  Its just so clean, the ganges is glorious and clear you can see the bottom and the fish swimming from the bridge.

I was desperately disappointed when we were dropped off at the very beginning of the town as it is quite ugly and there is nothing to do except wander aimlessly and get hopelessly lost in the alley ways.

After a few hours of this we decided to get in a rickshaw and ask to see a temple.  It wasn't a simple process but eventually we got to the north of Rishikesh and I was in heaven.

We only had 1 day for Rishikesh and 1 day for Haridwar so we made the best of it.  I made a promise to myself that I would come back and spend a month.
