People i met here who contributed to, and improved my trip: Julia (Russia)
On Thursday we decided to go and visit our friend Adam, who lives in Manchester, and who we met whilst traveling in Egypt. There were some really cheap bus tickets with National Express, as long as we changed in Leeds, which is on the route anyway.
As we had an hour to wait for our connecting bus in Leeds, we opted to visit Leeds Parish Church, which is right next to the bus station. I had never been before, as its not even one of the main Churches in Leeds, but it was nevertheless worth paying a visit to. Towering aisles, wooden pews, stained glass windows and beautiful paintings adorned the interior of the 1841 building, whilst a nice flower garden surrounded the outside.
It was a shame to have to leave so quickly, as Leeds was where i went to University to study for 4 years, and i would have liked to have shown Julia around a bit more. But in all honesty, its maybe not the most touristy City in the World, and i'm sure there will be a chance in the future, to have a better look around.
