Worrying about visas

People i met here, who contributed to and improved my trip: Juliana (Russia)

We arrived in Chengdu and were picked up by the staff from Mix Hostel at the train station. The hostel itself was undergoing reconstruction, which was quite disappointing, but 60Y for a double room, it was still quite a steal. We decided to try the food in their restaurant and carefully avoided all the things marked as spicy. We eventually settled for the bacon and tomato Spaghetti, what could possibly go wrong…. About 10 tablespoons of chili powder, that’s what! We picked away, until we felt our insides melting and gave it up as a bad job! We called it a night and went to bed discussing our run of bad luck. We wondered if this would be an omen for our trip to Leshan, where we were hoping to get our visa renewal.
