Heading to Konya

People i met here who contributed to, and improved my trip:
I got back from Kizkalesi and was in Silifke just long enough to visit the Temple of Jupiter, see the castle perched on a hill top in the distance and collect my bags from the hotel. Ideally i would have liked to have taken a better look around, but i had arranged with my couchsurfing host to be in Konya around 20.00. If i stuck around the next bus after the 14.45 one wasn't scheduled to leave for another 3 hours, which would make my arrival rather late, and this wouldn't have benefited anyone.
I wasn't particularly impressed with my bus company, which was Kontur, who charged 30YTL ($20) for the four hour journey. Other companies were charging 20% less, but the wanker in the ticket booth realised that anyone wanting to leave in the near future would have to pay up, or sit around waiting for hours. I almost stubbornly refused to pay, but decided that i would be cutting off my nose to spite my face if i did that.
The scenery on the journey was pleasant enough and part of it was reminiscent of Nemrut Dagi, with snow covering orange coloured rocks, whose shading was as a result of the setting sun.
