Check out the blisters!

People i met here who contributed to, and improved my trip:

After 2 weeks of blisters, i decided my feet needed a break and i'd read many good things about Lake Balaton in Hungary. After arriving by train, i pulled out my 'trusty' Lonely Planet and went on a wild goose chase for a hostel. Several hours later and with ever swelling feet i gave up all hope and booked myself into a lovely Bed and Breakfast. My feet however were unforgiving and for the next 3 days i struggled to even walk to the bathroom!

Luckily i had sky tv in my room and the World Cup was been shown almost every waking minute so i didnt die of boredom! I did struggle down to the Lake on my last night there to watch the England vs Sweden game and to be quite honest, i thought it was all rather overhyped and unimpressive, when compared with other Lakes around the World. If nothing else at least my feet were once more semi functional as i made my way back to Budapest

LOL. Yeah, I've been to Balaton. Not my kind of lake.
