People i met here, who contributed to and improved my trip: Julia (Russia), Reza, Mahdieh and Parsa (Iran)

It was nice to arrive into Kerman and not have to deal with the taxi touts for once, as Couchsurfer Reza was waiting to collect us from the bus terminal. His house was located a ten minute drive away and when we arrived his wife Mahdieh and five year old child Parsa were waiting to greet us. After settling in, Mahdieh cooked us a very nice lunch of fish, chips, rice and salad, but they could not join us as they were observing their fast for Ramadan.

Parsa was an incredibly active kid, dancing non stop and singing about Scooby Doo, his favourite cartoon character. Reza sat with us and chatted about a number of topics until 17.00, when they all had to go out to a family party. Kindly they let Julia and I remain in the house to relax and watch DVD's, which was enjoyable after the last couple of hectic days. They returned home a little after 22.00 and we all got an early night, as they had agreed to take us out the following day.
