Soppong River Inn

The Soppong River Inn is a nice, fairly remote set of bungalows perched over the river in Soppong Thailand.  Set in a lush garden setting, there are a variety of different bungalows and even a complete house to rent, each uniquely decorated and very comfortable.  We really liked ours (the River Rim Bungalow) which had a balcony hanging over the river and a nice, clean, roofless bathroom with an open air shower.  The staff is really friendly and the restaurant is reasonably good (Soppong doesn’t have lots of restaurants so this helps…).  Rooms are fairly inexpensive running between 500 and 1200 Baht.  Their website is really informative too.
