Farewell Dinner

Toasting to new friendships and future trips is what life is about...:-)

What enticed me to visit Morocco?
Could it have been the country, the culture, the couscous...;-)
What makes anyone travel so far?...It is all about connecting....connecting with experiences that will  touch your life, your heart, your soul!
It's about going without expectations and returning  transformed.

St . Augustine said it so eloquently....
The World is a book, and those who do not travel only read the first page.

Last sightseeing tour in this beautiful country...

We climb unto the bus to travel through the Ourika Valley. (Yes, bright and early once again..;-) Our first stop.... visiting a market in one of the small villages. Where were all the woman,I thought? I was told that this was a mans only market. Women are scheduled a day to visit the market. Men did all the shopping and brought home the groceries. Usually, if you saw a woman by her self,it meant she was a widow and did not have a man as head of the household representing her. (Somehow you can see me getting in trouble...hmmmmmm....;-)
The next stop was a special one....truly a highlight! We stopped to have traditional mint green tea with a Berber (orignal tribe of people who may have traveled from the East)  family. Four generations live under one roof. What humble and very hospitable souls!
