Smoky
Stayed in the lovely seaside town of Kiama in some fab and very posh cabins that provided our very own stray cat that we called smoky. We bought a massive snapper that Simon expertly prepared and then we BBQ-ed, the left over bits going to a very hungry Smoky. Dad & Sue were very impressed with the perfectly cooked snapper and we proceeded to do the usual drink lots of Aussie red and play cards evening.
Kiama is very nice although it was particularly windy during our 2 days. The blow hole that is the main attraction of the town was not 'working' every time we went to see it. We gave it a few chances but it seemed that the current or whatever it is wasn't playing the game. We did spend a few hours walking through the beautiful rain forest of a place I can't remember the name of and trekked up to see a waterfall. We stopped in a village on the way back for a cuppa and big pieces of cake!
Smoky was waiting on the door mat on our return, checking her watch to remind us that it was dinner time.
