So this is our 2.5 year trip!! One year on the long and bumpy road of South and Central America. Our second year started off with 12 weeks in New Zealand, then we headed to Australia! Eagerly clutching our working holiday visas we stayed in Australia for one year for work and travel. The last leg of our 30-month trip was 3.5 months in SE Asia. (We are home now and oh how we miss travelling!)

Simon's 29th!!

Spent Simon's birthday celebrating in Queenstown and did an excellent job of eating some great grub (Speight's Ale House pub) and drank a worrying amount of booze courtesy of Winnie's 2-4-1 vouchers.

Also spent 30 minutes in the very cold (funny that) Ice Bar, basically a room made of ice! The room is kept at around -8 degrees so we were given thick heavy coats and Ugg wool boots!! We enjoyed a few vodka cocktails and left with red noses and cold fingers.
