Semana Santa

Easter weekend! Or as they call it in Latin America - Semana Santa. Basically they really go for the religious thing here, neing Catholics but we just don`t understand why that means no chocolate. Nope, not a single over-priced, brightly coloured and tinfoiled easter egg in sight.

So instead of getting a buzz from too much Cadburys, we watched the continual parades through the streets of Xela, with what must have been the entire population of the city lining the streets to watch the processions. Was very good and very different but I have to admit, a Cadbury`s egg would be just wonderful. The usual chocolate here is just crap. And as for that American stuff they import... well we would rather go without.
