To Manaus!

Arrived in Boa Vista after a cab ride here from the border, sharing the cab with a local man and a woman who was completely pissed. She would be asleep at one minute then suddenly start talking to the cab driver, slurring and spitting, then mid-sentence, pass out again.
Got to the bus station in Boa Vista and managed to get ourselves onto the 8pm overnighter to Manaus. We can´t speak a word of Portuguese. It is so hard and we feel like aliens as we don´t understand a word anyone is saying to us. We have gone back to the pointing at things, sign language and hope for the best situations.
