Back to Darwin to drop of the campervan and to do some chores. We stayed at the very nice Palms Hotel which we got at a very good rate just by walking in and asking for a reduction. It cost the same as a hostel and was a lot nicer! Our chores included lots of laundry, going to te tax office to fill in tax returns, and our favourite.... sending more stuff home in a big box. We have sent so much stuff home over the last few years, I have no idea where it all came from but at least we have lots more space in the backpacks now to fill with things we buy in Asia!

Also managed to squeeze in a visit to the museum, a well worth it trip and a great museum. The 'Sweetheart' exhibition was brilliant, the (stuffed obvioulsy) croc called Sweetheart who died whilst his captors were trying to move him is now in the museum along with his story. He kept attacking boats you see, hence the attempted move.

2 nights in Darwin and then it is good bye to Australia. We sit on the plane and simply do not want to leave. Damned visa running out. We will be back Australia!!! What a super amazing fantastic year we have had in the land down under.
