So this is our 2.5 year trip!! One year on the long and bumpy road of South and Central America. Our second year started off with 12 weeks in New Zealand, then we headed to Australia! Eagerly clutching our working holiday visas we stayed in Australia for one year for work and travel. The last leg of our 30-month trip was 3.5 months in SE Asia. (We are home now and oh how we miss travelling!)

Bit of a dive

San Pedro Sula is not a very nice place. We ended up here as we had to go to STA to try and sort out a flight to Columbia. The flights turned out to be too expensive and so we are now bus-ing it all the way back to Panama.

We walked across the street from our hotel to a local drinking hole for a few beers. It was quite a funny place really and I don`t think SPS gets many tourists as we got stared at by everyone. SPS is one of the very few places on this trip so far that we haven`t felt very safe and we did wonder if we would get mugged walking the 5 metres across the road back to our hotel.
