The 'Big W' - day 6

So this is our 2.5 year trip!! One year on the long and bumpy road of South and Central America. Our second year started off with 12 weeks in New Zealand, then we headed to Australia! Eagerly clutching our working holiday visas we stayed in Australia for one year for work and travel. The last leg of our 30-month trip was 3.5 months in SE Asia. (We are home now and oh how we miss travelling!)

The 'Big W' - day 6

Our last day in the Park was a rainy one so packing the tent up was quite comical, if a little soggy. We just hhad enough time to clamber up to another mirador to look in awe at the Paines mountains set against the turquoise blue Lago Pehoe. Our final trip was on the disproportionately priced catamaran across Lago Pehoe to catch the bus back to Puerto Natales.

A wonderful trekking adventure, full of amazing views and a thoroughly rewarding experience. And using shampoo for the first time in 6 days is just bloody wonderful! We went out for some good grub back in Natales, which definately did not include rice. This was followed by several glasses of wine as we had 6 days of no alcohol to make up for. Hungover Saturday.
