So this is our 2.5 year trip!! One year on the long and bumpy road of South and Central America. Our second year started off with 12 weeks in New Zealand, then we headed to Australia! Eagerly clutching our working holiday visas we stayed in Australia for one year for work and travel. The last leg of our 30-month trip was 3.5 months in SE Asia. (We are home now and oh how we miss travelling!)

After a rather tiresome 5 hour journey from Guat City, we arrived back in the lovely city of Xela. We came back here to do the 6-day trek from Nebaj with Quetzaltrekkers that we had to cancel last month due to a lovely stomach parasite for both of us.

This time though, Simon has caught the Man Flu and so we have had to cancel again. We are just not destined to do this trek!! We are both very sad that we can`t do the trek but it wouldn`t be a lot of fun to walk up mountains with a heavy backpack for 6 days when you feel rough.

So spending a few days here for Simon to feel better then heading back to Panama and then back to South America!!!!
