Dad came to stay for a few days, this is what we saw...

The East Coast of Tasmania

As all roads lead to home... we decided to keep heading to the East Coast to see if we could get our Lobster for dinner. Last time dad had driven this road he missed seeing the Spiky Bridge. I had never heard of the Spiky Bridge so was happy to have a look. Before the bridge though, we stopped for ice-cream at Kate's Berry Farm. I had visited Kate's the year I toured around Tassie, but dad had never been. As I was still eating my ice-cream, dad offered to drive the short drive to the Spiky Bridge, giving me the chance to take some photos out of the car window of the stunning clouds hanging over one of the small islands dotting the coastline.

Unfortunately, we missed seeing the shack where you can buy the lobsters fresh out of the ocean, so kept heading south back to Hobart where we made last minute plans to go to one of Hobart’s best seafood restaurants, Mures on the pier.
