Today was a day to relax and enjoy the trip. Make no real plans just do what feels right. I decided to walk south on the main road from were the side road that I was staying on is. Pretty much more of the same and maybe a little more spread out. There are are a few restaurants that might be local favorites and a tire shop and a small Mosque. I eventually cut back over to the beach and walked back on the beach. I stopped at the beach mall and did some catching up on my e-mail.
Today was a pretty chill day. I took a nap and lazed around town soaking in the culture. I did get a pair of reading glassed in town. There are a lot of optical shops in town and I though I would check out what they had. They had a nice pair of frames and a basic reading glasses prescription that I got for $40 so I decided to get a pair to save my aging eyes from readng small print.
For dinner I went to a restaurant along the pier. From the street you can't see the seating areas of any of the restaurants so once you are all the way in you find it is empty. There are a lot of retaurants along the pierside, and along the beachfront too for that matter, so there were not that many people in the restaurant that I chose. I like seafood but it seems that most Thai restaurants cook the fish whole so deboning the fish is always a problem so I had a nice cashew nut and chicken stir fry.
Another day in paradise. Tomorrow I make my way north to Chaing Mai.......................
