Old School Bill's Man Bag Train Trip To Savannah, Georiga

Tampa Train Station

2007 Old School Man Bag Travel

The Amtrak 92 Silver Star Tampa Florida to

Savannah Georgia round trip cost $84.60.

Total travel time 8 hours.

The train seats have much more room than an airplane,

recline have foot rest.

If you are not in a hurry the train is great!

If you are into “Are we there yet?” you might need to pick a

different mode of transportation.

You are allowed 2 carry-ones -28x22x14 50lbs.ea plus purses,

MAN BAGS & laptops.

Savannah is a Great Walking Town

Only had to take a cab a few times-train stations to hotel each way.

One night it rained another that last White Russian impeded my motor skills.

Great burger place in downtown Savannah, Ga., with a small counter up

front overlooks the beer cooler with a large number of regular, local &

regional beers.

Young fast paced staff in good spirits.

Burgers come 1/3, 1/2 & 1 pound size on fresh buns.

Old School had a 1/2lb Moon River-Provolone & Mushrooms-Very good

Had Fry of the Week

Man Bag had a City Market-Provolone,cheddar,american swiss & mozzarella

cheeses- He must have liked it there was no doggie bag needed.

Also serve chicken, salads & healthy dishes I try to avoid when on

vacation.

Great place for lunch or dinner, when shopping downtown Savannah.
Good Burgers
