Summerdale, AL to Perry, FL

Took the beach ride from Summerdale and ran into lots of traffic and too many traffic lights. Once I cleared that, it was miles and miles of heavy forests. You can see all phases of logging from clear cut to heavy uncut ready for harvest and replanting. Logging is just like any other crop, it just takes years to replensh.

Parked at the Elks Lodge for the night and had dinner there. Parking was in a field with water and electric service.
