Left Crystal Falls and had an easy ride through St Paul and Minneapolis to the little town of Fergus Falls where I found the Elks Campground. Again, the ride was interesting with many silos and thousands of fields of corn. The majority of the churches in this part of the country seem to be Lutheran all with high steeples.
The local Elks have closed the Lodge in town and have consolidated at the campground they own out at a large beautiful lake. This town is in the south west part of Minnesota quite close to the South Dakota border. The campground was at one time a resort and has facilities for about 20 RV's plus many acres for tent camping. It is on a point of land that juts out into the lake and is quite beautiful.
Once again, there was not a lot of attractions to see in the area and I just enjoyed my stay there chilling out and visiting with all of the people in the campground and up in the bar and grill.
