Bergen, Norway
August 31, 2005
Bergen is a very nice city but very rainy, too. It's famous for his dockland "Bryggen". After every serious fire the people rebuilt the framehouses. Because of that they look the same like 800 years before.
A nice view over Bergen you have on the viewpoint Floyen (320m). To go there you can take the cable railway Floibanen. First we wanted to go to Ulriken with the cable car (Ulriksbanen) but it was to windy so the cable car didn't drive.
I can advice the fish market. There I could try amongst others sausages of elk and reindeer.
