Here in Midwest Ohio, we see snow, but nothing usually like this. Two days before Christmas brought us over 2 feet of snow. I live in a pretty wide-open part of the country, so we had some really interesting drifting formations reminiscent of sand dunes. Our vehicles were completely immobile. Dan hopped on the tractor (I helped for a few minutes but mostly stayed inside and made beef stew) and dug us out. Over six hours later, our lane was dug out and we could head out. However, with the wind, it quickly blew shut and Dan hopped back on the tractor. While this may not be an impressive snow to some of you, it sure was to us!
