Upper Park - our last day with Laura!

Today started off with a delicious breakfast of Baked Stuffed French Toast with strawberries - sooo good! :)
We decided to wait to go to the park until AFTER lunch, so that we could make Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwiches (yes, our whole day was planned around food :)
We headed to the park after lunch, and found the bottom gate closed! That meant instead of driving up to the cool parts, we had to hike there! Jesse and I have had to do that before, and hiking straight to the place we wanted to see today would take 30 minutes minimum, so I was disappointed - I would rather have started from Bear Hole and hiked past there to uncharted territory! But we took a different trail than usual to get there, so the hike was scenic.
Tonight we ate dinner at Hula's, a cool Chinese buffet restaurant that Jesse and I like. You take a bowl and walk along a counter of frozen meats and just about any fresh vegetable you could wish for, taking some of whatever you like. There are a mix of sauces at the end as well, and you can combine any you think sound good. Then your bowl gets taken by a guy behind the counter and cooked on a huge hot stone right in front of you. Grab a pair of chopsticks and there's dinner! Plus, it's all you can eat, so you can try as many different combinations as your stomach can hold. (for me that's only one trip through :)
Laura and I stayed up quite late tonight, just chatting about things, dreading tomorrow when we have to drive her back to Sacramento! I can't believe her time here is already over - it went by really fast.
