It's my third time in Vegas and I still love it! There is still SO much I haven't seen and I'm looking forward to going back...hopefully this year or next!

Third time's a charm

It was my third time in Vegas, and we arrived in on Friday Nov 2nd. It was good to get away from the cold dreary Canadian weather. Because it was a five hour drive to the airport from Sudbury, then a two hour wait at the airport in Toronto followed by a four flight, we were, not surprisingly, very tired...but we were in Vegas, and there was just no time to sleep!! We settled in at the hotel, then off we went walking the strip. It felt good peeling off the layers and just wearing t-shirts for a change. But where to start?? Walking through each hotel along the strip is an experience in itself, enjoying each theme the individual hotels have to offer. We loved the egytian theme at the Luxor and and Greecian theme of Ceasar's Palace...the grandeur and attention to detail is fantastic! But Las Vegas has so much more to offer than gambling, grand hotels and awesome shows...for the adventurous, only a short drive away, there's Red Rock Canyon, Death Valley, Hoover Dam...etc. A little farther out, is the Bryce Canyon and of course the Grand Canyon, or cut across Death Valley and into the Sierra Nevadas at Sequioa National Park! A week there just wouldn't be enough! I want to see it all!!!
