kovilj- place of peace
Kovilj
is a village located near Novi Sad. Famous poet Laza Kostic was born in
Kovilj. There is monastery. My brother lives there. He is a monk. So,
from time to time I go to visit him.
Usually,
I take bus from Belgrade to Novi Sad, and then I ask driver to stop
after we cross bridge in Beska. So, driver stop in the middle of the
nowhere and my sister and me take a walk for 30 minutes to monastery.
It
is much shorter way then going to Novi Sad and then takes a bus to
Kovilj. On that way you can afford to yourselves a couple of hours.
It was chilly morning, but soon it became a sunny and beautiful day.
We spend great time with our brother.Then late in the afternoon, we hurry to take bus to Novi Sad. I don’t know what is happened with us, but suddenly we decide to take train to Belgrade.
